The Role and What You’ll Do:

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for driving pricing strategy implementation & key inventory and revenue analysis, collaborating with department leadership to inform and shape our pricing and revenue optimization strategy. 

  • Dynamic Pricing & Inventory Strategy. Implement, track, and refine dynamic pricing strategies across assigned venues and product lines. Identify trends and market conditions to adjust pricing in real-time, driving revenue and optimizing event profitability. Align with broader pricing teams to share regional insights, ensuring a cohesive and impactful pricing framework. 

  • Inventory Management & Coordination. Partner with ticket operations teams to maintain a comprehensive inventory tracking system, ensuring accurate, up-to-date visibility into supply. Balance supply and demand across sales channels, adapting to market signals for optimal yield. Follow consistent workflows and best practices for streamlined inventory management and reporting. 

  • Reporting & Analytics. Develop and maintain dashboards, forecasting tools, and analytical models in partnership with the strategy and analytics teams. Monitor key metrics to identify emerging trends, guide tactical adjustments, and uncover revenue enhancement opportunities. Deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders at all organizational levels. 

  • Risk Management & Compliance. Monitor market activities and competitor strategies to proactively address pricing-related risks, including potential scalping and unauthorized resale. Ensure adherence to relevant event regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards, maintaining integrity and consumer trust. 

 

You Have These

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field

  • Proficiency in data analysis and data manipulation

  • Adaptable, dynamic approach with the ability to blend quantitative insights with qualitative market feedback.

  • Strong interpersonal skills – a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong oral, written and presentation skills

  • Strong ability to identify & explain trends in data

  • Experience with pricing and/or ticketing analysis preferred

  • Experience in an analytical role preferred

  • Experience using SQL preferred

  • Experience using BI tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, Looker (or similar) preferred
