We are looking for a seasoned analyst to join our Pricing and Value Enhancement (PAVE) team. In this position you will work cross-functionally with finance and sales to deliver high-impact pricing analysis, playing a key role in the pricing strategy for our large deals. Your work will directly impact the price of our services, particularly for customers with custom configurations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build strong relationships with your colleagues on the the finance team and the sales team
  • Work with the finance team to understand current pricing practices, and identify areas of improvement
  • Respond to custom pricing requests for advanced-stage deals and deliver financial modeling based on a deal’s unique features
  • Think creatively about how to model and measure the impact of changes to our core pricing assumptions on deal financials
  • Drive meaningful business outcomes by shaping pricing strategies that influence millions in revenue and expand access to affordable mental health care
  • Collaborate with data science, finance, and sales partners where necessary on assumptions
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and operations, and how they tie into Spring Health’s business context
  • Prioritize inbound requests based on business needs and collaborate with customer-facing teams to drive sales wins
  • Query databases using SQL to inform assumptions
  • Build custom pricing models using excel (or similar spreadsheet application, gsheets etc)
  • Communicate impact of custom configurations on price and margin to internal teams

What success looks like in this role: 

  • Timely turnaround of custom pricing requests and associated impact on deal financials
  • Development of tools to streamline pricing decision making

What we expect from you

  • You are passionate about changing the face of mental health care and Spring Health’s mission to remove all barriers to mental health resonates with you
  • You have 3+ years of experience in financial or actuarial analysis. Additionally, we value transferrable skills from adjacent roles
  • You are an expert in Excel, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and dive into writing code in SQL when the data you need isn’t already available
  • You are not afraid to experiment - finding creative solutions and building new models excites you
  • You demonstrate poise under pressure and do not let perfect be the enemy of good
  • You have exceptional communication skills, are comfortable working independently, and can align your priorities with cross-functional stakeholders
  • You are humble, highly motivated, and have the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

What we’d love to see (bonus)

  • You have experience working on small, agile teams - particularly in start-up environments
  • You have worked directly with sales teams to move deals across the finish line
  • Experience in vendor evaluation or benefits consulting 
  • Prior exposure to actuarial pricing, underwriting, or corporate finance

The target base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,850, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
