We are building innovative server systems for GPU accelerated applications, such as Deep Learning. As a Senior NVLink System Software Bringup Engineer within our Fabric Networking team, you will take a pivotal role in driving the software and firmware debug and bringup efforts for our next-generation NVLink systems. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with world-class professionals, engage with customers and partners, and contribute to groundbreaking technology that redefines the boundaries of innovation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead software bringup efforts for next-generation NVIDIA NVLink-based datacenter platforms.

  • Triage and resolve issues during server system bringup processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage and debug firmware and software across the entire stack.

  • Engage directly with major customers to address and solve complex technical challenges.

  • Work closely with development and SWQA teams to design and develop effective test tools and automation frameworks for validating the complete system software and firmware stack.

  • Provide support for validating system software and firmware during the release process.

  • Partner with product experience and documentation teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working closely with HW teams, ODMs and vendors to introduce and support server platforms.

  • Strong understanding of low-level interfaces between SBIOS, BMC, and OS, including I2C/SPI/PCIe/JTAG, PCIe enumeration, and platform-level I/O for enterprise systems.

  • Demonstrated expertise in system bringup, debugging, and resolving complex hardware and software issues with 5+ years of experience in system software or firmware.

  • Outstanding skills in firmware and software development with a deep understanding of end-to-end stack and server system architecture.

  • Background with C/C++ development, bash/python for scripting, and debugging skills in Linux operating environments. Expertise in Out of Band and In-band management architectures.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team of engineers.

  • A track record of delivering high-quality, innovative solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Background in software and firmware development for server platforms. In depth understanding of PCIE, memory management or networking stack.

  • Expertise in Arm, x86 server and GPU architecture. Expertise with NVIDIA systems is a huge bonus.

  • Any experience with cluster software automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins

The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 287,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
