Catalant Technologies is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate is a marketing “Swiss army knife” – a creative and strategic thinker whose multifaceted experience and depth of expertise allow them to flex across various marketing disciplines. You’ll report to the Director of Marketing. You are a driven, execution-oriented marketer who upholds high quality standards and has an ambition to push the bar higher. You know how to work smartly, building repeatable and scalable processes. You leverage AI tools to work efficiently and have a keen ability to target messages to specific audiences. You’ll be responsible for executing a marketing strategy that tells our story, reinforces our perceptions in the market, builds awareness, and drives interest. You have a passion for developing compelling content that engages audiences. 


This role requires familiarity with the top management consulting players, strong business acumen, and a blend of creative thinking, analytical skills, and operational expertise.

What you'll do:

  • Content Creation and Content Production Management:
  • Manage the production of high-quality content for LinkedIn and business publications, going beyond just traditional blog posts to tell our story and reach our audience, building awareness for our “Consulting 2.0” category, and the Catalant brand.
  • Copywrite for various contexts (email, articles, website pages, social media) 
  • Support the development of new website pages by providing copywriting and content collection or facilitating Expert partner participation.
  • Develop and organize case studies and project/engagement examples for various use cases. 
  • Facilitate the production process of Expert-written content (articles, reports, etc).
  • Facilitate the creation of articles that support independent consultants’ growth and success on or off Catalant. 

  • Email Marketing and Content Distribution:
  • Smartly repurpose content across various channels, for targeted audiences, using AI-assisted workflows where appropriate.
  • Own and execute all aspects of email campaigns, from ideation and development of content to audience targeting, testing, and deployment.
  • Monitor and analyze key email marketing metrics from Marketo, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates across audience cohorts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Design, Systems, and the Client Community and Practice Community teams to deliver compelling communications.
  • Conduct quarterly community surveys and analyze feedback to gather insights and develop actionable outcomes (1 survey per quarter, ad hoc surveys tied to event programs). 
  • Execute and optimize the monthly Expert newsletter, always thinking about quality and value to the Experts. 
  • Run email programs tied to events, targeting specific personas, monitoring performance, and optimizing based on learnings. 
  • Create and execute posts on Catalant’s LinkedIn company page 2-3 times a week utilizing a mix of content types, and engage with our audience’s posts daily.

  • Brand Marketing and Community Engagement: 
  • Develop a deep understanding of target client personas, understanding the mediums and channels most effective to creating brand awareness.
  • Experience developing and utilizing strategic buyer personas to advance marketing programs
  • Support the Head of Events on event campaigns through email, content, or sponsored activities. 
  • Keep a pulse on the life of an Expert by observing activity in Slack channels, and following and engaging with Experts on Linkedin.

  • Product and Service Launch Support: 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch and grow new products and services (ex: landing pages, content, and emails). 

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a marketing role(s)
  • 2 years experience with email marketing platforms – bonus points for Marketo Engage experience
  • Equally comfortable writing and editing with a high bar for quality
  • Prior experience with a CMS tool (WordPress experience a plus) 
  • Well-versed using Google Workspace (particularly Google Slides and Sheets)
  • Experience with GenAI prompt writing and familiarity with tools like Claude and ChatGPT
  • Strong business acumen, enjoys reading and writing about business-related topics
  • Prior experience as a content marketer, email marketer, or product marketer
  • Relevant experience creating and executing marketing campaigns with complex audiences
  • Ability to identify trends within a community, pinpoint the challenges and opportunities that face an audience, and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Exposure to or experience with rebranding or repositioning 
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management with a self-starter, get-it-done attitude that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to engage professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience creating content for presentations and comfortable with slide creation tools (design skills not required – the ability to synthesize information and present it clearly is the focus)
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, produce, or edit blog-style content 
  • Metrics-driven and inquisitive with a proven ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results
  • Works independently, yet knows how to ask for support when needed
  • Familiarity with a range of CRM, martech, and analytics tools (Our stack includes Google Workspace, WordPress, Salesforce, Marketo, Domo, Gong, and Google Analytics)
