Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled content creator with a specialized focus on the nonprofit sector. In this role, you will have expert insight into the nonprofit sector to craft tailored, compliant messaging. You will create compelling, multi-channel content from both a B2B and B2C perspective – encompassing digital paid media, email, and more – to effectively engage diverse audiences specifically in the Healthcare and Higher Education space. You will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies that resonate with nonprofit organizations and stakeholders within the Tax-Exempt sector.
  • Create high-quality content across various channels, including digital, paid media, email campaigns, social media, and website content.
  • Conduct research to understand the unique challenges, trends, and regulatory aspects of the nonprofit space.
  • Tailor messages to address both B2B decision makers and B2C supporters, ensuring clarity, compliance, and impact.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners within team to align content with broader campaign strategies.
  • Assist in the development of multi-channel marketing programs that drive engagement and build brand equity.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics; use data-driven insights to refine messaging and improve engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously enhance content relevance and quality.
  • Maintain consistency in voice and messaging that reflect the enterprise brand standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in content creation preferably with a focus on the nonprofit sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to create content for multiple channels with a clear B2B2C perspective.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eyer for detail.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic-mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability by driving project to completion, taking responsibility for outcomes, and ensuring high quality results.

The Senior Marketing Manager is part of the Analytics, Marketing & Communications team within Fidelity’s Tax-Exempt Market business unit where we serve nonprofit employers and their employees. These organizations are passionate and strive to provide their employees, who frequently serve others, with benefits programs that support their evolving needs. The Marketing team develops strategic programs that enhances engagement and mission awareness. We serve both our clients and their employees by providing insights, tools, and programs that drive impact and support organizational growth.
