Position Title: Senior Manager of Sales, Construction Vertical
Company: Quickbase, Inc.

Reports To: General Manager, Construction

 

Position Overview
Our 
Senior Manager will lead and expand our West Region Construction Sales team. This role involves driving sales strategies, managing the full sales lifecycle for enterprise and mid-market accounts, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. As our new Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, driving growth, collaborating cross functionally and expanding our market share within the construction sector. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of technology, exceptional sales acumen, and a proven track record in sales management.

 

Key Responsibilities

            Lead and Develop Sales Team: Manage and grow Quickbase’s Construction Sales team, fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and collaboration.

            Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the assigned region, contributing to the go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

            Customer Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key accounts to generate new business and expand revenue with current customers.

            Sales Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full sales lifecycle, including identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects; negotiating and closing agreements; and ensuring customer satisfaction.

            Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, pipeline generation, forecasts accuracy, and win rates to drive continuous improvement and over achieve sales targets.

            Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Enablement, to ensure brand consistency and the continual development of tools to aid the team in achieving goals.

Qualifications

            6+ years of software sales experience, with a proven track record of identifying and closing deals.

            Experience in a sales leadership role with the ability to develop high-performing teams and effective sales processes.

            Extensive knowledge of enterprise SaaS models, practices and metrics.

            Ability to maintain C-level relationships and work with a cross-functional teams.

            Experience selling subscriptions to large and mid-size organizations; experience selling into the construction industry is preferred.

            Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and influencing skills.

            Willingness to travel (25% - 50%) to Quickbase offices, customers, and other locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role within the construction technology sector.
  • Proven track record of leading successful sales teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of construction technology trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms is a plus.
