About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Product Design Manager, Lending Products. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding Remitly's offerings by designing innovative credit products for both new and existing customers. You will manage a team of 3-4 designers and report to the Vice President of Product Design. You'll leverage your deep understanding of the lending landscape and customer needs to discover, design, and ship groundbreaking products that drive competitive advantage and fuel our customer growth.

You will be hybrid (2-3 days a week) in our Seattle office. #LI-Hybrid

You Will:

  • Develop a team of product designers with a healthy culture, where they grow in their careers.
  • Grow future design leaders within the organization, coaching them on prioritization, dependencies, and requirements.
  • Amplify design operations so the customer experience matches the brilliance of our design and product teams.
  • Elevate design craft by demonstrating what great design is, leading reviews and providing actionable feedback.
  • Guide collection and synthesis of customer data to inform decisions.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and your team has clear and measurable goals.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of years of product design experience leading product design
  • 4+ years of experience managing a diverse team of UX & UI designers
  • 3+ years working designing lending, credit, or similar products
  • Ability with both oversight and creation of user experience design deliverables—including wireframes, customer journeys, concepts, and information design
  • UX/UI design, research, and new product development experience
  • Experience leading world-class mobile experiences (both native apps and responsive in-browser designs)
  • Demonstrated strength with building relationships and communicating both internally and externally
  • An outstanding portfolio that shows expertise and leadership in customer-focused product and content design solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and public-speaking skills

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $146,000 - $163,800. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
