Overview:

Walker Sands is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations + Analytics to drive attribution modeling, data integration and marketing analytics for its B2B clients. This role blends technical expertise, automation, strategic thinking and education, helping our team and clients make smarter data-driven marketing and revenue decisions.

This role will be responsible for designing attribution strategies, implementing automation, uncovering insights through data storytelling and acting as an internal advocate for best-in-class marketing analytics. Working hands-on with Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Supermetrics, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo and other data tools, you will ensure data is properly collected, integrated and leveraged for optimization.

Key Responsibilities:Attribution + Data Integration Strategy

  • Design and implement multi-touch attribution models to track marketing effectiveness across paid, organic, and partner channels.
  • Ensure seamless lead lifecycle tracking and revenue attribution across CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation (Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot), and analytics (Looker Studio, Supermetrics).
  • Develop and manage data integration workflows, optimizing how data flows across marketing, sales, and reporting platforms.
  • Improve data tagging, tracking, and reporting to enhance visibility into campaign performance.
  • Explore the use of AI-powered analytics tools to enhance automation and efficiency in reporting and insights.

Automation + Integration

  • Develop custom scripts (JavaScript, Python, Google Apps Script) to support Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and data automation workflows.
  • Configure and optimize Google Tag Manager to track key user actions and enhance attribution accuracy.
  • Use Supermetrics and automation tools to aggregate and analyze data from multiple marketing channels.
  • Manage CRM and marketing automation integrations, ensuring data flows seamlessly between platforms.
  • Debug tracking and reporting issues, refining attribution methodologies as needed.

Data Storytelling + Insights

  • Uncover actionable insights by analyzing marketing and revenue data, using trend detection and predictive modeling when appropriate.
  • Build and maintain visual dashboards in Looker Studio, Salesforce, and HubSpot to help teams interpret key insights.
  • Develop custom attribution reports that highlight marketing's impact on pipeline and revenue.
  • Present findings to internal teams and clients, helping them make smarter, data-driven marketing decisions.
  • Identify and recommend new data sources and methodologies to enhance attribution and reporting.

Creative Problem Solving + Consulting

  • Act as an internal advocate for best practices in marketing analytics, automation, and data integration.
  • Train and educate marketing, sales, and leadership teams on how to interpret and act on data insights.
  • Lead internal workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions on data reporting, tracking implementation, and attribution modeling.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in marketing analytics and revenue operations to continuously elevate the team’s capabilities.
  • Partner with clients to optimize their Martech and RevOps stacks, identifying innovative solutions to complex data challenges.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, revenue operations, or data strategy (B2B agency or SaaS experience preferred).
  • Expertise in Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Supermetrics, and CRM reporting (Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Strong understanding of multi-touch attribution models, customer journey tracking, and revenue impact analysis.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (for Google Tag Manager), Python (for data workflows), and Google Apps Script (for automation).
  • Experience integrating CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms using APIs and automation tools (Zapier, Segment, ETL connectors).
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Passion for educating teams and advocating for data-driven marketing best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • We strive for salary range transparency in our hiring process. This is a major step towards not only complying with regulations where required, but also to make sure pay equity and DEI are top of mind during the hiring process. Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a bonus based on company performance, as well as benefits. Below is the starting salary for this role:
    Starting Salary: $77,500 - $80,750 a year
    • Placement on the salary scale will be determined by various factors, such as, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, education, business or organizational requirements and internal equity.
    • Starting salaries are not inclusive of a full range of compensation for this role and are instead meant to reflect the expected beginning salary for a new hire. Merit-based increases can be earned after time in role.
