About the Role:

Remitly is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Manager of Internal Communications who cares deeply about culture and is as passionate about our vision as we are. We believe that engaged team members create exceptional products and experiences for our customers, and strong communication is a key driver of that success.

In this role, you will lead internal communication strategies across multiple channels to connect employees to our vision, strategy, and culture. You will partner with leaders, drive change communications, and ensure every team member understands how their role contributes to our broader company objectives.

This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director of Internal Communications. This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days a week in our Seattle, WA headquarters.

You Will:

  • Be a trusted communications advisor to members of the executive leadership team and key internal stakeholders.
  • Develop engaging internal communications strategies and campaigns for a diverse audience across our global employee base.
  • Simplify communication channels, establish channel strategies and structure, and drive best practices adoption.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes, templates, and clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Lead change management communications to ensure clarity, alignment, and engagement.
  • Use data and metrics to measure communication effectiveness.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic internal communications, preferably in a global company.
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders, operationalizing communications strategies and plans, and leading change management communications.
  • Simplify complex information into clear and engaging content within business context.
  • Developing and executing robust communication plans, from ideation to measurement.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments, bring creativity and an eye for efficiency.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and working autonomously.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $140,000-$175,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
