Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Unstructured Data Platform AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced machine learning models and algorithms to enable and enhance AI features across HubSpot’s product offerings. Your work will directly shape unstructured data platform capabilities and impact a diverse set of product features such as deal prediction, summarization, brand identity, and many more.
We are looking for people who have:
- a track record in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models that have outsized impact on customer experience at scale
- rigor to improve model performance and accuracy through iteration and optimization
- skills in evaluating various machine learning algorithms to identify the most suitable for specific use cases
- ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- ownership mindset working with cross-functional team of product managers, product designers and software engineers to ensure successful model integration into product features
- curiosity to adapt with industry trends and appetite to stay ahead of the curve
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering role
- Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Experience with a diversity of foundational Machine Learning techniques for classification, recommendation, unsupervised learning, active learning, and data augmentation.
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques especially those involving modern LLM architectures.
- Experience with MLOps practices especially around model QA and monitoring
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master degree in a specialized discipline like Data Science or Machine Learning
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Knowledge of sales processes and CRM systems.

Cash compensation range: 165500-248300 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
