The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Leader, Program Management to join our team. The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in program leadership, masterfully influencing and working across the business, has a deep understanding of fintech ecosystems, and a proven track record of successfully setting strategy, and managing teams across a set of complex initiatives. As the Senior Lead of Cash Customer Operations' (CCO's) Program Management Team you will provide leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to a diverse group of Program Management Leads, team members, cross-functional teams and stakeholders while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
You Will

  • Lead the strategy and oversee execution of the Program Management function which supports our Cash Customer Operations (CCO) business
  • Lead and coach a team of Program Management Leads - developing their skills, enabling their growth, and ensuring the team delivers high quality, timely work
  • Drive strategic relationships and influence across a variety of stakeholders, including executives, product, engineering, operations, and customer facing team leadership
  • High level understanding of Cash products, overall strategy and roadmap to properly assess, pivot, and assign resources across the Program Management team
  • Influence the refinement of the operating model across operational teams such as Program Management, Portfolio, Technical Project Management and various other operational delivery teams
  • Lead through frequent, fast change: identifying information needed to make decisions in an ambiguous environment, in order to support the velocity of product development at Cash App.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among a diverse set of cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize resources and regularly review and analyze team program performance against established metrics


You Have

  • 10+ years of experience leading program management or similar function
  • Proven experience applying program management best practices and strategies within a growing organization
  • Ability to influence across a diverse set of stakeholders to create buy-in and drive appropriate decision making in alignment with Cash level priorities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and frequently changing business landscape
  • Thoughtfully sets a vision, adjusting where necessary, working through blockers, simplifying for self and others
  • Successful track record of understanding, applying and driving adoption of traditional change management best practices
  • Utilize data and information to inform decision-making with a focus on achieving results
  • Excellent oral and written communication and narrative storytelling skills that instills confidence from key partners; Exceptional emotional intelligence that drives trust, partnership and results across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and build effective working relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Certification in project/program/change management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, LSS, CCMP)
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and information security

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
