Zayo is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Identity Access Management (IAM) Manager to oversee our Workforce IAM, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms. The Senior Identity Access Management (IAM) Manager will provide strategic direction, leadership, and operational excellence to protect our organization from cyber threats and ensure the security of our products throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IAM practices and a proven track record of managing complex IAM solutions. This role is critical to ensuring secure access to our systems while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Platform Management

  • Lead the administration and optimization of Workforce IAM, IGA, and PAM platforms.

  • Ensure the integration of IAM solutions with existing IT infrastructure and applications.

  • Monitor and evaluate platform performance, implementing enhancements as necessary.

Service Management

  • Oversee the management services for IAM platforms, ensuring they meet organizational needs and service level agreements (SLAs.)

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for IAM processes and governance.

  • Conduct regular assessments of IAM services to identify areas for improvement.

Metrics and Reporting

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of IAM initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting mechanisms to provide insights on access trends, compliance status, and risk assessments.

  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and stakeholders on IAM performance and strategic initiatives.

Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define IAM strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to inform IAM strategy.

Team Leadership

  • Manage a team of IAM professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for career development.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IAM team.

Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to identity and access management.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with IT security, compliance, and other relevant teams to align IAM initiatives with organizational security strategies.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IAM-related inquiries and escalations.

Qualifications:

  • Requires Green Card or US Citizenship.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, programming, database administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IAM, with a focus on Workforce IAM, IGA, and PAM solutions.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in managing IAM teams or projects.

  • Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, policies, and best practices.

  • Experience managing IAM tools and platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Entra ID, CyberArk, etc.)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or IAM-related certifications) are a plus.

Estimated base pay range:

$155,000 - $201,500 USD / annually.

$112,500 - $137,500 CAD / annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.   

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
