Senior Growth Enablement Specialist (Remote)

Help us market our story! ICF is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Growth Enablement Specialist to join our team and support the growth of our Utility Programs and Services (UPS) by informing and elevating the materials sellers use to drive deals forward more effectively. ICF’s UPS division works with utilities across North America to make homes and businesses more energy-efficient, deliver programs that increase adoption of electric vehicles, and design and deliver new programs that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve climate resiliency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing within the energy sector, and proven ability to position and clearly articulate value propositions. The primary responsibility of this role will be to support the success of our products and offerings by assisting in the development and execution of comprehensive sales enablement strategies and create story-driven presentations that describe ICF’s services and capabilities. Secondary responsibilities include supporting new content development on priority industry issues and continuously building the UPS sales enablement library to describe ICF’s cutting edge services and capabilities.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your understanding of how best to structure and enrich content to tell a compelling story to develop sales enablement collateral and strategies that equips sales and business development teams with the tools, training, and resources that drive awareness, adoption, and growth of our energy solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Create compelling sales enablement collateral, including internal product sales tools as well as external-facing brochures, case studies, and presentations, to effectively communicate product benefits and features.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.

  • Develop editable PPT graphics and slides that simply convey complex ideas, features, processes, and other information to improve our sales content (pitch decks, proposals, etc.).

  • Build and maintain relationships with external key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure our sales enablement efforts remain innovative and effective.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Corporate Marketing, subject matter experts, Business Development, and shared services, to ensure alignment and effective communication of product value propositions and ICF’s differentiators are clearly articulated in collateral development.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on the development of go-to-market plans, including product launches, campaigns, and promotional activities.

  • Monitor and analyze collateral performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Continuously update the Sales Enablement Library with new collateral scrubbed for use in future sales needs.

  • Teach us something new! We know the best ideas often come from outside, from people who are willing to look at things differently

What You Will Bring with You

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product marketing or sales and/or growth enablement, preferably within the energy sector.

  • Experience interviewing technical subject-matter experts to develop persuasive sales collateral.

  • Experience supporting the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • An extensive background in product marketing or sales and/or growth enablement within the energy sector, and a proven ability to position and clearly articulate value propositions.

  • A knack for creating big picture stories that inform and resonate with a variety of audiences

  • In depth understanding of the energy industry, including market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and emerging trends.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Experience writing and contributing to blog posts, white papers, and other marketing content.

Professional Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and value propositions.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

  • Proven track record of successfully positioning and marketing products in a technology-driven environment.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$73,722.00 - $125,327.00
