Job Summary: The (REMOTE) Senior Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between Finance and Accounting business needs and technical solutions by administering the technical infrastructure, maintaining system integrity, and providing support to end-users to ensure the effective utilization of the OneStream platform, which is the primary platform for Mattress Firm's financial reporting and consolidating activities. The role is responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing the OneStream platform to support all accounting and finance functions within the system such as period close, financial planning, reporting, and analytics processes. This position collaborates with Accounting and Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to implement enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in the system's environment. 

 
Essential Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements, integrations, or new implementations. 

  • Manage and administer the platform, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades. Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure optimal operation and compliance with IT policies and standards and that it meets technical requirements. 

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on OneStream functionality, features, and best practices. Develop training materials, user guides, and knowledge-based articles to facilitate user adoption and proficiency. 

  • Troubleshoot user issues, resolve system errors, and address inquiries to ensure a positive user experience and maximize user adoption. 

  • Design and manage data integration processes to import, export, and synchronize data between OneStream and other systems. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy by validating data loads, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing data governance controls. 

  • Identify performance bottlenecks, optimization opportunities, and system enhancements to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement database optimizations to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency. 

  • Collaborate with OneStream support teams, consultants, and vendors to escalate issues, request assistance, and coordinate resolution of technical issues or system enhancements. Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders, finance teams, and IT partners to align system initiatives with business objectives. 

  • Manage security policies, roles, and access controls within the OneStream platform to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor user access, permissions, and audit trails to mitigate security risks and prevent unauthorized access. 

  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date. 

  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all. 

  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts. 

  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation. 

  • Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations. 

 

Non-Essential Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the development, deployment, and upkeep of job aids and tools for end users to facilitate knowledge creation. 

  • Communicate Company data and metrics to business partners. 

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects within specified timelines. 

  • Deploy “Best Practices” tools and processes through effective utilization to drive ongoing enterprise improvements. 

  • Support strategic focus of Company by providing easier access to better data. 

  • Participate in recommending Company policy and assist in formulating usage guidelines. 

  • Execute Company initiatives and other activities requested by Supervisor. 

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. 

  • Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company. 

 

Education 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred 

 

Professional Experience 

  • 3+ Years financial analysis required 

  • 1+ Years experience implementing or supporting OneStream preferred

Competencies & Knowledge 

  • Microsoft Office Products: High 

  • Understanding of accounting and/or Corporate Finance processes: High 

  • Knowledge of financial systems and ERP/EPM platforms: Medium 

  • .NET, PowerShell, VB, SQL and or some other type of programming skills: Low 

  • Developing and delivering end-user training: Low 

  • OneStream platform: Preferred

Pay Range:

$85,000 - $90,000
