What You Will Do:
As our Senior External Technology Manager, you will manage and drive activities with both current and new external industry and academic partners for the DRE research teams. A critical aspect of this role is overseeing NDAs, co-development agreements, licensing agreements, IT, meeting cadences, and deliverables for both parties. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying new technologies and managing relationships from initiation to completion with potential and existing partners.
This role can be performed remotely, in a hybrid capacity, or onsite, depending on your preference.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to identify, secure, and manage strategic business partnerships with technologies that may benefit Stryker.

Identify potential partners, analyze market trends, and evaluate collaboration opportunities.

Negotiate and execute single or multiple partnership agreements per project.

Manage all NDA activities with external partners.

Learn, understand, and communicate the value of technologies and technical blocks needed for projects.

Teach others how to use advanced technologies and tools.

Develop key relationships with industry thought leaders, organizations, and institutions in collaboration with our team and key internal stakeholders.

Evaluate and execute potential sponsored trials, registries, economic analyses, and investigator-initiated grants to support clinical evidence generation strategies.

Explore and understand multi-channel strategies for diverse products, services, and markets that could leverage the technologies being explored.

Effectively use appropriate benchmarks and document key assumptions when developing forecasts.

Forecast sales while considering market conditions, product potential, and other relevant factors.
What You Need:Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree is required.

10+ years of post-college work experience.
-
7+ years of experience in medical devices, marketing/sales, business development, legal, or R&D.
Preferred Experience:

MBA preferred.
Compensation:
-
$129,600 - $286,500 annual salary, plus bonus eligibility and benefits.

Actual salary may vary based on location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 40%
