Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer (RapidScale)

We are an innovative managed cloud service provider seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Engineer to lead the development, maintenance, and operation of enterprise application standards and systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring our applications and infrastructure, including databases, networks, and hosting solutions, are optimized for high availability and reliability. The ideal candidate will design detailed configuration parameters, develop custom extensions and workflows, and collaborate closely with technical and engineering teams to deliver seamless, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide systems maintenance and support for a diverse portfolio of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, including Microsoft Office 365, Project Insight, Monday.com, TalkDesk, Atlassian Suite, Google Workspace, and Lucidchart.
- Design and enhance business application solutions, including modifying existing systems to meet evolving organizational needs.
- Conduct rigorous application testing during upgrades and enhancements, documenting system configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Define and manage user access groups to ensure security and operational efficiency across assigned applications.
- Monitor and address user requests and system issues, serving as a Tier 3 escalation point for Helpdesk Support Technicians.
- Evaluate software purchase requests, recommending cost-effective solutions that align with internal customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and documentation of common resolutions.
- Review application stacks to identify opportunities for consolidation, retiring redundant resources, and optimizing performance.
- Implement automation solutions to streamline operations, improve application adoption, and enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years' experience in a related field
- Experience with systems maintenance and support for a diverse portfolio of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications (Ex; Microsoft Office 365, Project Insight, Monday.com, TalkDesk, Atlassian Suite, Google Workspace, Lucidchart, etc)
- Experience partnering with stakeholders to understand and capture business requirements
- Proven ability to learn and master technical aspects of enterprise applications, with experience in similar technology, managed service, or similar environments.
- Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing large-scale enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with Azure Power Apps, Power Automate, and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
USD 90,100.00 - 150,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
