Boeing Learning and Development (L&D) is looking for a Senior Employee Development Specialist – Learning Programs to help manage and elevate key leadership development programs in the Engineering and Corporate learning spaces. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in managing large-scale, learning development programs and driving successful outcomes. This position can be located in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a complex and fast-paced environment and has excellent training development, program management and communication skills. This Senior Employee Development Specialist will be responsible and accountable for program execution, managing the scope, schedule, budget, and risks associated with complex projects. They will also have the opportunity to drive operational excellence and transform how Boeing handles learning and development programs. Successful candidates are collaborators who effectively prioritize and deploy training programs based on team and business need. The role demands excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and manage complex programs from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Partner with the business to employ thoughtful and strategic learning solutions
- Establishes learning strategies and architectures and defines project scope
- Oversees curriculum development and reviews course content and instructional materials. Researches and identifies new technologies and methodologies
- Consults with external educational institutions to identify trends in learning theory and delivery. Performs as a lead instructor in one or more specialized content areas
- Identifies opportunities to enhance key individual or organizational performance and tailors coaching sessions
- Oversees performance analysis and development of improvement recommendations and establishes performance analysis tools and process
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience communicating with and presenting to senior and executive leadership
- 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
- 5+ years of experience formally or informally leading training development programs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Ability to effectively partner with Business Stakeholders and Executive Management
- Experience with curriculum development and content and instructional materials

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $118,150 - $159,850
