We’re seeking a Senior Director of Marketing Operations to lead the next evolution of our marketing infrastructure, performance analytics, and operational strategy. In this high-impact leadership role, you’ll define the long-term vision for marketing operations and guide its successful execution. Your mandate: ensure every marketing investment is tied to measurable outcomes and revenue impact.

You’ll be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing marketing operations team while also shaping the strategy, systems, and processes that drive operational excellence across the marketing organization. As a strategic partner to marketing leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping our go-to-market approach, accelerating pipeline creation, and improving revenue performance. You’ll collaborate closely with demand generation, revenue operations, sales, finance, and analytics to deliver actionable insights, optimize strategy, and implement the tools and frameworks needed to scale effectively.

If you’re passionate about building scalable marketing operations, enabling data-driven decision-making, and driving predictable growth, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help shape the future of Red Canary’s marketing engine!

What You'll Do

  • Define and drive the long-term strategic vision for marketing operations in support of company-wide revenue goals.
  • Architect a holistic performance framework that connects marketing strategy to business outcomes—covering pipeline creation, funnel velocity, conversion efficiency, and revenue contribution.
  • Lead the evolution of attribution models and performance measurement, ensuring full-funnel visibility across all marketing programs and channels.
  • Build and scale a modern, integrated martech ecosystem that enables personalization, automation, and data-driven decision-making across the customer journey.
  • Partner with revenue operations, analytics, and finance leaders to inform strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Institute governance around data quality, lead management, and campaign operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Guide the transformation of lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle models to support complex buying journeys and accelerate sales outcomes.
  • Champion operational rigor across the entire marketing organization—establishing KPIs, processes, and enablement to improve execution and accountability.
  • Oversee the development of advanced marketing dashboards and predictive analytics that surface actionable insights for GTM leadership.
  • Influence GTM strategy through deep partnership with demand generation, customer marketing, product marketing, and partner teams.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, agility, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key member of the marketing leadership team, advising the CMO and executive stakeholders on marketing performance and growth levers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring Red Canary’s marketing function operates at a world-class level.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or GTM strategy within B2B SaaS—cybersecurity experience preferred.
  • A proven track record of building and scaling high-functioning marketing operations teams that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Executive-level communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across sales, finance, analytics, and product.
  • Deep expertise in marketing performance analytics, funnel optimization, attribution strategy, and ROI modeling.
  • Demonstrated success in transforming martech stacks and operational processes to support ABM, intent-driven marketing, and sales acceleration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, with a mindset rooted in continuous optimization and scalability.
  • Experience leading high-impact initiatives that cross multiple GTM teams and drive systemic improvements to revenue performance.
  • An empathetic and empowering leader who inspires teams, builds trust, and fosters career growth.

Base salary for this role is $177,183 - $220,000 per year. This role is also eligible for participation in the company's bonus program. This role is eligible for a grant of stock options, subject to the approval of the company's board of directors. Application deadline is April 9, 2025.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
