The Senior Director, Engineering for Enterprise Data and Integration is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and driving the enterprise data strategy, architecture, and execution. This role will lead a high-performing team to build and optimize scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions across multi-cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS). With a strong balance between strategic vision and operational execution, the role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally, this role involves collaborating with business operations, data analytics and product leaders to implement DataOps culture and improve alignment between data and operations.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and drive the Enterprise data strategy and roadmap, working collaboratively with Product leaders, ensuring alignment with business goals, product roadmaps, and analytics objectives.

  • Advocate for and implement DataOps methodologies, fostering a culture of automation, agility, quality and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with cross-functional business leadership to shape data-driven business models and innovative data solutions.

  • Own and influence key technology and architectural decisions, balancing innovation with operational efficiency.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously evolve the Risepoint’s data capabilities.

Operational Execution

  • Lead enterprise data engineering teams in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures across multiple cloud platforms.

  • Oversee the development of real-time and batch data pipelines, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.

  • Drive operational excellence by establishing KPIs, performance metrics, and governance frameworks for data quality and compliance.

  • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Business Stakeholder teams to optimize data infrastructure for AI/ML, predictive modeling, and marketing analytics to optimize marketing ROI, improve lead conversion and performance.

  • Work closely with the Data Governance team to enforce policies, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Leadership Expectations

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing data engineering team, providing growth opportunities and fostering technical excellence.

  • Act as a change agent, spearheading innovation, automation, and modernization efforts to build and enhance scalable enterprise data platform.

  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clarity in strategy, execution, and business value.

  • Navigate between high-level strategy and hands-on execution, ensuring both long-term vision and immediate business needs are met.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • 15+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 10 years of leadership role overseeing large-scale data initiatives.

  • Proven expertise in multi-cloud data architectures (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and modern data engineering frameworks.

  • Deep experience with DataOps, CI/CD, and automation in data environments.

  • Strong background in marketing analytics and contact center insights.

  • Extensive knowledge of data governance, security & compliance

  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, agile environments.
