Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Director of Digital Acquisition and Revenue Marketing (Growth) to lead and optimize Freshworks’ digital marketing strategy. This key leadership role will focus on developing strategies, driving execution, and scaling a high-performing team to drive demand generation and revenue growth through digital channels. You will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and deliver measurable results, while fostering innovation and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strategic, data-driven mindset, with deep expertise in SaaS, product-led growth (PLG), trials, and full-funnel performance marketing. You’ll bring extensive experience in digital planning, media execution, ad operations, and stakeholder management, paired with the passion of a marketer, the insight of a strategist, and the drive of a doer.

Please note: This is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday). 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital acquisition and revenue marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and conversions across SEM, SEO, social, Affiliate marketing, display, email, and ABM.

  • Optimize full-funnel digital campaigns to generate high-quality leads, maximize ROI, and drive pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Build and manage a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous learning.

  • Collaborate with sales, product marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and optimize the buyer journey across digital touchpoints.

  • Leverage data and analytics to define KPIs, track performance, and optimize marketing strategies for efficiency and impact.

  • Oversee the digital media budget, ensuring effective allocation and execution across channels to meet revenue goals and maximize spend efficiency.

  • Architect and execute high-velocity digital demand generation programs to deliver sales-ready leads to our inside sales team's queue, ensuring every prospect interaction is data-enriched and primed for immediate engagement.

  • Lead the adoption and integration of marketing technologies, including AI-driven solutions, to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

  • Report regularly on performance metrics, business impact, and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS

  • Proven experience leading SEO strategies and demand gen content efforts at scale

  • Strong expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, local SEO, and link-building

  • Experience managing SEO agency relationships and internal teams

  • Deep understanding of demand gen funnels and content-driven customer journeys

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools

  • Experience with marketing automation tools, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CMS platforms (WordPress), and web development best practices

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams

  • Experience using AI and automation to scale content creation and optimization

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a thought leadership mindset

Additional Information

Please note: This is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday). 

This role is based in the Seattle Metro Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.

Compensation Package
$228,200-$327,980 USD Base Salary + Variable Compensation
