Location: Remote US

Compensation Range: Up to $250,000 base plus bonus and equity

What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 3M+ endpoints and 1M+ identities worldwide, elevating under-resourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

This role serves as a strategic extension of the Chief Revenue Officer. You’ll be responsible for building and implementing our reseller partner program, with the goal of unlocking additional revenue resources for Huntress.  Through your knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape you’ll identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and expand the Huntress brand by opening new channels. This role will work closely with senior management and stakeholders to determine the necessary actions and opportunities for new routes to market to increase the company's revenues and market presence. This person will identify value creation opportunities, shape and align on implementation, and support their execution and long-term success.

Responsibilities:

This is a hands-on Individual Contributor role that could lead to managing a small team.

  • Understanding market research and analysis to help identify new market opportunities and develop effective strategies
  • Develop planning and business modeling to identify growth opportunities, set targets, and implement strategies to achieve sustainable growth
  • Forming strategic alliances, joint ventures, or collaborations that create mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Meeting with potential partners and being able to communicate the Huntress story effectively
  • Working with other teammates to help align offerings with the needs of clients
  • Communicating with and informing Partners in a way that supports an ongoing relationship
  • Build and manage relationships with key channel partners and resellers to grow Huntress’ distribution network and customer reach
  • Work closely with channel partners and resellers to identify new opportunities, offer support, and develop joint marketing initiatives
  • Develop training and enablement programs for channel partners and resellers to help them better sell and support Huntress products and services
  • Provide guidance to channel partners in creating go-to-market strategies and sales tactics tailored to their regions or industries
  • Monitor and assess the performance of channel partners and resellers to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive continuous improvement
  • Act as the point of contact for all partner-related inquiries, ensuring timely responses and fostering long-term, successful relationships
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery, technical support, and overall partner satisfaction
  • Track and report on partner and reseller performance, including sales growth, opportunities, and any challenges encountered

What You Bring To The Team:

  • Highly motivated self-starter who is capable of identifying issues, prioritizing efforts, delegating execution, and ensuring completion of projects
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with channel partners and strong background within the MSP community
  • A strong network and understanding of the Cyber-Security ecosystem
  • Ability to discuss technical business opportunities
  • The ability to think creatively and strategically
  • The ability to work independently but receive feedback, guidance, and direction from the CRO, CTO, and CEO to clarify the needs and move the effort forward
  • Organized professional capable of managing multiple projects and tracking the status in a way that makes it easy for others to see and understand the progress and estimated timelines for project completion
  • Preferred experience with 1 or more of the following companies: Optiv, insight, Softchoice, Trace3, SHI

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
  • 401(k) with a 5% contribution regardless of employee contribution

  • Stock options for all full-time employees
  • One-time $500 reimbursement for building/upgrading home office
  • Annual allowance for education and professional development assistance
  • $75 USD/month digital reimbursement
  • Access to the BetterUp platform for coaching, personal, and professional growth

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
