THE OPPORTUNITY

This Senior Cybersecurity Specialist​ position can work remotely within the U.S.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization’s operations by focusing on documentation and process improvements for security operations. You will collaborate closely with global business teams to help prevent, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across international e-commerce sites and customer support solutions. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that new e-commerce and customer support platforms are protected with robust security measures and implementing appropriate prevention and detection controls. You will also lead initiatives to develop a risk-based cybersecurity program that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry-leading practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop a risk-based cybersecurity program that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry-leading information security practices.

  • Perform threat identification and mitigation activities using industry-leading security controls and toolsets.

  • Assess threats to the business and deploy countermeasures effectively.

  • Collaborate with business units, application development teams, and third-party vendors to achieve program requirements while enabling the business.

  • Facilitate cross-team coordination to achieve defined security goals and meet technical requirements in support of detailed implementation plans for security projects.

  • Manage security projects to ensure the timely, on-budget, and effective implementation of cybersecurity improvements, supported by validation methods to measure effectiveness.

  • Lead documentation and process improvements to streamline security operations and enhance the security posture.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, providing advanced guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

  • Perform assessment of cybersecurity incidents to identify process improvements that can be made to respond and recover the environment.

  • Develop strategies, policies, and standards to protect company information and technology assets.

  • Plan and execute incident response plan exercises to evaluate the organization's preparedness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure effective incident management capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security

  • Experience with Cyber security operations including Incident Monitoring and Threat Analysis.

  • Professional experience developing and maintaining cyber incident response processes and playbooks.

  • Professional experience in the generation or use of cyber threat intelligence across various ecommerce solutions.

  • Understand the techniques, tools, and procedures used by modern security operations centers

  • Familiarity with digital investigation, data management, and scripting utilities

  • Familiarity with the cyber threat modeling processes

  • Demonstrated experience working in collaborative roles across multiple teams.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in product cybersecurity.

  • Professional experience with cyber security detection platforms (e.g. Elastic, CloudFlare).

  • Past involvement with the Medical Devices or Health ISAC.

    The base pay for this position is

    $97,300.00 – $194,700.00

    In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
