We want to redefine the world's relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.

They will push the boundaries of our banking and money management experience, exploring what we can achieve and help us create one of the most resonant products in the world.
You Will

  • Partner closely with design to create and evolve the end-to-end design process-from identifying customer needs and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Concept, design, and write content across all stages of the customer journey
  • Audit existing experiences and identify clear ways content design can improve and enhance user goals
  • Apply consumer insights and metrics to inform design decisions and influence the product roadmap
  • Use systems thinking to connect the dots across the entire customer journey
  • Create guidelines that ensure consistency and empower stakeholders
  • Reference insights and metrics to drive forward decisions with strong instincts on when to follow your intuition and take calculated risks.

You Have

  • 8+ years experience in content strategy, UX writing, content design (or whatever you happen to call it)
  • Extensive experience working on zero to one projects and iterating on well-established, core experiences
  • Strong UX capabilities and writing competency, including information architecture, content research, content management, and surface writing
  • A passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging solutions
  • Refined craft and storytelling skills, as well as the ability to align teams and stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to bring partners along with how and why your decisions were made
  • Comfort with an iterative design process that includes soliciting and acting on feedback

Please submit a deck or portfolio of work with your application that showcases your design process from exploratory stages through execution. If your portfolio site requires a password, please provide us with it in your application or on your resume. Thank you!

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
