Summary of Role

We are looking for an experienced technologist to join our cloud engineering team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, maintain, and support parts of our cloud platform. We believe in fostering an environment that encourages open communication and continuous learning. Our team utilizes the public cloud, artificial intelligence, and other cutting-edge technologies as the building blocks of our platform so that we can be efficient and effective in our pursuits. By following a gitops mindset, we can easily automate all aspects of our environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and technologies, such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, GCP, Datadog, and more!

Responsibilities

Things you will be doing

• Build and maintain infrastructure as code to provision cloud resources
• Use python/typescript to develop internal tooling (CLI, Applications, Scripts)
• Build and maintain helm charts 
• Create pipelines to automate a variety of tasks (CI, CD, Testing, Onboarding, etc)
• Contribute to the security and compliance of systems, processes, and cloud resources
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure services are designed with reliability in mind, and guide the appropriate use of tooling and automation
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices

Requirements

Things you bring to the table

• Demonstrated commitment to secure software development practices.
• Strong coding skills in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Go
• Understanding networking concepts and implementation in a cloud-based environment
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience writing infrastructure as code
• Experience working in a GitOps driven environment
• Experience in implementing Continuous Delivery

Location Information

This role is preferred to be located near our Denver, CO office, with hybrid work from home flexibility.

Team members must live and work in the United States* (*territories excluded), and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.

Compensation

Annual salary $130k - $150k depending on experience
