AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to be based in Seattle, WA

Job Summary/Responsibilities

• Lead a team of professionals overseeing the civil design of large scale complex projects with a near-term emphasis on design-build delivery.

• Supervise and lead project plan production and technical reports.

• Establish budgets and schedules for project deliverables.

• Develop and manage key client relationships.

• Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.

• Present complex technical solutions to clients.

• Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.

• Participate in the development of technical proposals.

• Mentor, grow, and recruit staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.

• 15+ years of experience in civil design.

• 10+ years of experience in utility design.

• 2+ years of WSDOT highway drainage design experience within the last 4 years.

• A current P.E. license in the State of Washington.

• Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.

• Knowledge of agency/regulatory approval process, standards, policies, and best practices.

• Client connections and relationships with local and state agencies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills experience.
