As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Vidrovr, you will develop reliable and secure APIs in the Vidrovr platform that support customer use cases. You will collaborate with team members from the frontend engineering, machine learning, and product teams. Your verbal and written communication skills are proactive and efficient, and you share your ideas clearly in a remote working environment. You thrive on learning and are comfortable working with a broad range of technologies.

- Maintain, document, and deploy the Vidrovr platform’s Python API servers
- Improve the observability of Vidrovr’s API to better understand their general health
- Implement security best practices to protect data and systems
Within 6 months you'll…
- Have a large impact on the way we build RESTful APIs for flagship product features
- Increase end-to-end testing coverage of our APIs using industry best practices
- Test hypotheses for improvements through instrumentation and prototyping
This is a fully remote position. Vidrovr does not currently maintain a physical office. About half of our team is based in New York, with other members in Knoxville, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle, and Mexico City.
