Work Flexibility: Remote
As a Senior Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining lightweight application solutions that improve business outcomes through data collection, process optimization, and insights related to our US Customer Intelligence function at Stryker. In this role, you will support collaboration with stakeholders across functions within Customer Solutions to leverage domain expertise and capabilities and manage expectations on timing and scope of work. You will participate in different stages of application development and support tactical execution and maintenance of new and previously developed applications that are in scope.
What you will do
- Collect & document product requirements.
- Conduct problem-solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against application and sub-system requirements.
- Conduct research and studies to support product design.
- Design new applications applying various design concepts.
- Translate design inputs to product specifications and produce application and sub-system level designs.
- Conduct or design POC (Proof of Concept), testing, user trail, launch, onboarding, training, and troubleshooting.
- Generate and review the necessary documents with project teams (requirements, design, architecture, bugs, test, etc.).
- Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with IT and other functions as needed.
- Translate stakeholder requirements to potential solutions/applications independently.
- Contribute to discussions on identifying opportunities where application development can be applied to real-world business opportunities with key stakeholders.
What you need
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field of study.
- 2+ years of work experience.
- Experience programming languages, such as C#, R Shiny, and SQL.
- Experience with application maintenance or support.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in computer science or a field of study.
- Experience with Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure services.
- Experience with Git for versioning control, Visual Studio Professional, and Windows Forms in .NET Framework.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, data structures, data visualization are desirable.
Travel Percentage: 10%
