The Opportunity:

The Senior Analyst in Technical Implementation will have a solid foundation in software implementation and data integration. This individual must demonstrate the capabilities required to plan, analyze, configure, implement, and support a complex, multi-step workflow solution at a large healthcare organization. To be successful in this role, the individual requires strong data analysis, critical thinking, and client management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deliver measurable performance outcomes. Will approach problem-solving challenges independently, have a strong attention to detail, understands general data integration workflows, and has a passion for implementing quality software solutions.

Job Competencies

  • Teamwork/Collaboration – Helps orient and train new hires. Provides mentorship to other members of the team. Proactively identifies opportunities for internal process improvement initiatives, proposes solutions, and leads execution of solutions. Establishes trust and strong working relationships with all team members and across departments.
  • Communication – Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Owns customer facing and internal communication of complex issues and risks. Proactively provides project updates and communicates risks to internal stakeholders. Effectively escalates project and customer issues and risks to Manager as needed.
  • Implementation Management – Creates and manages implementation plan to ensure successful, on time go-live. Reviews and signs off on large deliverables prior to delivery to Operations or client IT. Independently identifies implementation risks and escalations and shares considerations and proposed resolution steps with manager for review and approval. Manages communication, documentation, and resolution once path forward is determined.
  • Analytics - Experienced in data integration, data analytics, QA processes, and software workflow design (e.g., using SQL server or equivalent to query large data sets, creating technical process flows, learning database tables, creating .json/.txt files.). Advanced understanding of common healthcare data exchange methods such as HL7, extracts, and API.
  • Organization – Shows an organized and process-driven mentality. Effectively organizes/tracks daily tasks, prioritizes assignments, and meets deadlines. Comfortable with ambiguity and performing tasks autonomously without direct oversight or direction.
  • Professional - Coachable, hungry for feedback, and dedicated to continuous self-improvement. Completes required education and professional certification to further self-development. Shows initiative to learn and grow from leaders as well as peers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Experienced in project management (e.g., lead meetings, draft status reports, develop/manage project plans, track issues, identify risks, develop/monitor resource plans, etc.)
  • Experience working with real-time data integration (HL7) or managing daily file intake processes for software solutions
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once, prioritize and execute many tasks, and resolve issues quickly
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and performing tasks autonomously without direct oversight or direction
  • Experience building and managing client relationships
  • Keen attention to detail, self-motivated, and service-oriented
  • General understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), including patient access, registration/admission, and patient financial services
  • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Solid understanding of workflow systems and their application to operations business process improvement
  • Experience creating detailed software process flows and documenting product requirements

  • This position pays between $75,600 - 144,900 based on experience
