We are looking for a seasoned product manager to be a member of the AI Product Ownership team, and to plan and manage one or more AI or ML product(s) as they are transformed from concept to reality. This role requires a deep understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and how they can be best utilized to deliver rapid, sustainable results. In pursuit of their goals, this Senior Lead Product Manager will develop business cases to inform funding decisions, execute Agile or Waterfall development activities, and oversee spend against budget, while constantly ensuring their decisions are in line with strategic objectives and intended business value. They must also demonstrate curiosity in seeking out the latest advancements in these technologies and how they are being used to enhance their perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute products part of the overarching product roadmap for AI/ML products, aligning with business goals and market needs.
- Develops business cases to inform funding decisionsincluding build vs. buy/customizecompletes supply chain and funding processes/requirements, and ensures spend stays on-budget. Acts as SME in contracts for their products, where applicable
- Recommends appropriate methodology (Agile or Waterfall) for each product's development based on project needs and timelines
- Is hands-on in Agile or Waterfall activities, ensuring they are executed effectively and consistently
- Partners to prioritize the backlog for their product(s), maintains the roadmap, communicates the roadmap across stakeholder groups and ensures alignment with development partners
- Acts as a primary point of contact for their product(s) and ensures alignment across stakeholder groups including executive audiences
- Maintains a focus on customer experience, strategy and business value, validating solutions meet customer needs and business goals (short- and long-term)
- Facilitates feedback loops (sprint retrospectives, informal feedback and more) to continually optimize processes and outcomes
- Participates in model training, tuning, and validation processes, ensuring models meet high standards for accuracy, responsibility, and effectiveness.
- Stays informed on the latest advancements in AI, ML, and related technologies; relevant vendors, platforms and models; and product management practices.
- Builds a strong partnership with the Technology organization.
- Develops product strategic vision; translates vision into clear and defined business requirements to drive functional specifications and technical requirements.
Qualifications + Competencies:
Minimum
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right
candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6years'
experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 20 years' experience in a
related field
-Proven experience leading product teams; ideally using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
-Understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in solving business challenges.
-Certifications in Agile (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management (e.g., PMP) are desirable.

USD 119,600.00 - 199,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $119,600.00 - $199,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
