About the Role:

The Enterprise Security team works with our internationally located IT team to secure our corporate assets and third-party infrastructure to allow our employees to operate securely. You will work with our IT team, Detection and Response, Infrastructure Security, Privacy, Product Security teams and various other partners to design and implement strategies to secure our corporate infrastructure. You will be the subject matter expert for securing our corporate assets (e.g., Computers, IoT, Authentication/Authorization-SSO, SaaS integrations) and will redefine + implement the best pathway forward for Enterprise Security.

You Will:

  • Tag alongside the IT Team to review their corporate infrastructure and provide consultancy services including hands-on work for migrations and integrations
  • Contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions that support enterprise-wide security initiatives
  • Perform risk assessments and threat modeling exercises to identify risks in home-grown and third-party services and applications and chart a pathway to remediate or accept the risk
  • Develop enterprise security standards, guidelines and policies whilst keeping business processes and impact in mind
  • Create and evolve security tooling to secure our corporate infrastructure and development environments
  • Encourage a culture of security and customer privacy at Remitly
  • Care about making things better despite challenges from multiple directions

You Have:

  • 4+ Years of experience in Enterprise Security (e.g., securing/hardening devices, SaaS applications)
  • Write quality, robust, testable code in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Rust, etc)
  • Experience communicating risks and resulting mitigations to partners
  • Experience with SaaS, Cloud Security (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience collecting and analyzing security logs and related telemetry
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and associated technologies.
  • Experience performing system or network architecture reviews
  • Experience assessing risks related to SaaS applications, including driving improvements from vendors and configuration management
  • Experience securing operating systems (Windows (including AD), Linux, MacOS, and ChromeOS)
  • Experience with big data tools and methodologies (e.g., SQL and data warehouse technology)

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $160,000-$200,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
