About the Role:

To become and remain the most trusted financial services on the planet, Security & Privacy must become part of Remitly's company culture. With the threat landscape always evolving, it can be difficult for developers and employees to stay up to date on the latest security threats. You will focus on building a strategic program to educate all employees and embed security into Remitlian's daily responsibilities.

Reporting to the Security Principal Program Manager, the Security Culture Program Manager will engage with and influence teams across the entire company to improve their processes and technical controls needed to secure our customers. You will build a roadmap to grow the current Peace of Mind Partners program and ensure our customers' security and privacy is top of mind. This is a hybrid role based in the Seattle office.

You Will:

  • Collaborate with program managers, engineering managers, and individual contributors across engineering and partner teams to identify areas of improvement for security and privacy.
  • Partner with all Security & Privacy teams to create content for Remitly's Security & Privacy champion program, Security & Privacy Awareness Month, monthly newsletters, and ad hoc company wide events.
  • Coordinate events, presentations, and exercises for all Security & Privacy Awareness events.
  • Build and report measurements of success for the Security & Privacy awareness and training programs and identify gaps in training.
  • Develop internal and external Security & Privacy content to improve security awareness for both employees and customers.
  • Bring Remitly's Joyful value to Security & Privacy awareness!

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with program management, ideally within the security industry.
  • Experience communicating with and influencing change with partners teams and senior leaders.
  • Program management skills including experience leading cross-team programs from concept to execution which result in culture change.
  • Analytical capabilities including experience using both qualitative and quantitative data to sweat the details and identify trends.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry.
  • A deep commitment to our mission.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $120,000-$150,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
