Heartland School Solutions is a division of Global Payments, delivering credit, debit and prepaid card processing as well as payroll, check management, payment solutions, campus solutions and OneCard™ to more than 250,000 organizations nationwide. 

The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals for our core business service of Technical Account Management (TAM) .  This role is responsible for selling, marketing, managing pipeline, providing information, and answering questions on the details of what the service provides, as well as maintaining customer satisfaction with the service. This role will focus on new and existing clients within the K-12 segment throughout the US Market. Additionally, the TAM Sales Representative is required to demonstrate a strong understanding of lead generation and marketing of Heartland products & services within the K-12 marketplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Generate, qualify, process and work leads through ALL lead-generation activities

  • Participation in National, State or Regional Shows as requested

  • “Cold Calling” and other lead generation activities in Salesforce

  • Maintain prospect account data in Salesforce in a timely fashion

  • Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting by following internal forecasting guidelines

  • Product demonstrations will be done with Zoom applications via the internet 

  • Develop cross-selling opportunities for other areas of our business

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge across required School Solutions’ products & services

  • Become knowledgeable of the K-12 School Industry

  • Become familiar with and use of ALL communications media (Salesforce, GSuite, Zoom, etc.)

  • Monitor expenses by adhering to Employee Manual expense guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sales experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong work ethic with a self-motivated and determined attitude

  • Ability to work independently or as a functional team member 

  • Ability to confidently make web presentations to School Business Officials and Board-level Senior Executives

  • Ability and understanding on how to influence decisions and behaviors

  • Demonstrate the ability to close and secure new business

  • Efficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills 

  • Organizational skills with attention to details, timelines and metrics

The US base salary for this full-time position is $50,000 + bonus + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
