 The Role

The main objective of the SDR is to qualify and disqualify potential leads for our sales team. The SDRs will do this through cold calling, email, LinkedIn messaging, and video outreach, along with a variety of other tactics. SDRs work to set up meetings between qualified prospects and our New Business Directors, with the ultimate goal of converting these leads into new business. SDRs are evaluated based on the number of qualified meetings they schedule each month, as well as the amount of new business they help generate for Ceros.

In addition to these primary objectives, SDRs also have a secondary objective of learning about the sales process from start to finish, including how to successfully onboard new customers. Throughout their tenure as an SDR, individuals will have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of Ceros' product, our industry, competitors, customer stories, and current events that may impact our business. This training is designed to help SDRs progress along their career path into positions within Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, or Strategic Accounts within 18-24 months, and ultimately contribute to the success of our customers and our company.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
