Job Summary:

As the Sales Development Manager, you will own all aspects of sales demand generation and qualification. You will be the motivational leader of 7 - 11 Associate Sales Development Representatives.  This position will play an integral role in growing OpenEye’s presence in the security industry as we evolve over the coming years.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver coaching & continuous training to the sales team.
  • Ensure team is attaining 100% MOM booked meetings, talk time, and show rates.
  • Answering questions related to calls, emails, systems, SOPs, product, value props, etc.
  • Update, maintain, and distribute MQLs & Lead Lists to the team.
  • Create and run sales incentives programs (WorkTango, etc.).
  • Create additional resources regarding content, job function, etc.
  • Interview candidates for open positions.
  • Train and onboard new hires.
  • Hold weekly continual improvement workshop.
  • Create and maintain user logins and permissions for different systems.
  • Create necessary job aids for additional SOPs as needed.
  • Track and report on sales activity and achievement to executive leadership.
  • Hold 1:1s with team members.
  • Participate in continuous learning and meetings for constant improvement.
  • Work with other cross functional teams to generate lead lists targeting the right verticals and personas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in leading a high-performing Sales Teams at a growing technology company (preferably SaaS) is preferred
  • 3 + years leading teams that generated organic opportunities and top of funnel pipeline
  • 3 + years leading teams that set/booked meetings by outbound calling and emailing
  • Proven ability to successfully \ train new sales reps and coach low performers through to success
  • A passion for coaching and helping others build a career as a sales professional 
  • A high level of energy and an unwavering positive attitude 
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales enablement tools (Outreach etc.) 
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment 
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred

  • The on-target pay for this opportunity is $105k - $115k per year. Base salary range is $80k -$90k per year, with an additional on-target commission of $15k-$25K per year.

The salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience.  This allows opportunity for growth and development within the role.  The salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
