The opportunity
We are seeking a Rights & Permissions Consultant to research and document asset use details. This person will be responsible for independently reviewing, interpreting, and documenting rights clearances.
What you’ll do
- Review copyright release forms and other legal documents for rights and permissions exceptions
- Research and analyze rights and restrictions trends across large collections of assets
- Maintain accurate records of product rights and permissions
- Assist with other rights-related projects, as needed
What you’ll bring
- At least two years of rights management or permissions clearance experience
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a geographically dispersed team
- High level of proficiency using Excel and/or Smartsheet
You’ll stand out if you have
- Experience working with metadata and/or DAM systems
- An interest in using and keeping abreast of changes with genAI
- Publishing or library and archives experience

Pay Range: $45 - $60 hourly
This is a contract role which is expected to last throughout 6/30.
