We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our team in Utah. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting processes. You will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles related to revenue.
How you will make an impact
- Process and record revenue transactions in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Reconcile revenue-related accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and revenue reporting.
- Analyze contracts and agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and billing, to resolve revenue-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the revenue accounting function.
What we are looking for
- This is a hybrid position, requiring one in-office day per week (Thursday) at our Orem office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in revenue accounting or general accounting.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
