With 80% of this remote role being dedicated to project management and the other 20% to fostering sustainable and fruitful client relationships, this Research Manager position allows for the perfect combination of skills and expertise necessary to provide an incomparable client experience, backed by an exceptional internal support network.  They are the ultimate owner of their projects and will work with many different teams to achieve success. This is a remote position and would allow you the opportunity to partner with colleagues within and outside of the US.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Independently manage multiple quantitative and qualitative market research projects simultaneously (6-8 projects at a time), ensuring smooth execution of project within timelines and project costs. Includes managing multiple phases of research, writing screeners & discussion guides, managing recruit, monitoring fielding, preparing technology, and managing analysis. 

·         Develop, implement, and execute project plans to ensure client objectives are met, while contributing meaningful recommendations regarding survey or screener design, research methodology, and reporting. 

·         Coordinate the creation and delivery of all project deliverables across interdepartmental teams, which could include recruiting updates, screeners, discussion guides, survey test links, data files/toplines, reports, etc., delegating responsibilities appropriately among team members (including project setup, recruitment, and technology logistics). 

·         Cultivate a client-centric culture, focused on providing superior insights and results, while demonstrating dedication toward continuous improvement and growing long-term client relationships by conducting post-mortem evaluations with clients after challenging projects, following up with solutions/improvement opportunities, and putting those solutions into action. 

·         Collaborates with internal teams to achieve a successful recruit, continuously monitoring project elements to identify potential roadblocks and manage to resolution.  Includes keeping all informed of the project’s progress and exhibiting effective, timely and detailed communication skills.

·         Is flexible and adaptable with changes to existing key elements of projects as required by internal teams or the client directly. 

·         Responds quickly to unanticipated or urgent issues and manages to resolution, escalating as appropriate.

·         Remains in alignment with various company goals such as maintaining high client satisfaction scores, quick project close out etc. 

·         Demonstrates an understanding of project cost, feasibility and margin.

·         Works within Sago systems effectively throughout life cycle of project (SAMS, Complex Survey, PMTool), QualBoard, etc.).

·         Works in accordance with company SOPs.

·         Other duties as assigned.

·         Strong communication skills – written and verbal. 

·         Must be adaptable; able to work independently and collaboratively.

·         Ability to problem solve and make decisions.

·         Maintain thorough knowledge of Qual Products and services; provide assistance and consultation to clients as needed to ensure optimal use of our resources for each project. 

Requirements
Education:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

·         Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience preferred.


Experience:

·         2+ years’ experience working in a market research environment, managing projects and client expectations

·         Qualitative and Quantitative management experience a plus. 

·         End client / brand management experience a plus. 


Computer Skills:

·         Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel.
