The eClinical Engineering team has true greenfield opportunities for software engineers who want to develop innovative revenue-generating products that are revolutionizing the life sciences industry. You will work on a team that is developing enterprise-level clinical data software. OVERVIEW

The full stack Software Engineer will be a member of the elluminate product development team. elluminate is a next generation data integration and analytics cloud platform that enables life sciences organizations to optimize the aggregation, standardization, and analysis of their data throughout the clinical development life cycle. This role will be responsible for the design and development of core modules for the platform and will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle such as reviewing functional specifications and UI mock-ups, design, development, unit testing, code reviews and release management. Your toolkit will comprise of Visual Studio .NET framework as your Integrated Development Environment, C#, Angular, and SQL as your programming languages, and SQL Server. 


KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Engineering team to design, develop, test, and deploy highly interactive and data driven web applications
  • Design, implement, and deploy software components that solve complex problems generating positive feedback
  • Solid understanding of design approaches (and how to best use them)
  • Work independently and with your team to deliver software successfully
  • Apply good technical practices and contribute to the application architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance
  • Design and write unit tests and participate in code reviews
  • Research, learn, and utilize new technologies on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate with the Software Quality Assurance team to test the system functionality
  • Provide diagnostic support and fix defects as needed 
  • Provide technical support for existing elluminate product releases 
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education & Experience

  • Basic Science/Bachelor of Science and/or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of English


Professional Skills

  • We are looking for a mid-level full-stack software engineer with at least 3 years of experience in Microsoft technologies, including C#, Angular, and SQL Server.
  • Experience in design, implementation, and deployment of software components that solve complex problems generating positive feedback
  • Solid understanding of design approaches and how to best use them
  • Able to work independently and with your team to deliver software successfully
  • Demonstrated experience where work is consistently of a high quality (e.g., secure, testable, maintainable, low-defects, efficient, etc.) and incorporates best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Fluent in English 

 

Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft C#, Angular, and SQL preferred
  • Thorough understanding and application of fundamental object-oriented design principles, algorithms, and data structures 
  • Good knowledge of relational database concepts, including SQL queries, data modeling and design 
  • Working knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular 
  • Able to write clean, optimized code that performs well and is easy to maintain 
  • Good documentation skills and able to contribute to relevant software documents such as features description, acceptance criteria, design documents, release notes, etc.
