Meet the Team:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing and leading a sales team focused on driving sales, lead generation, customer support, and training for Dexcom’s medical device products. This leadership role will concentrate on a specific geographic area—British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan—to achieve strategic company goals.

Where You Come In:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve district and territory sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to regional market dynamics to enhance growth and adoption of Dexcom’s continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) solutions.
  • Oversee and support the following sales team roles:
    • Territory Business Managers (TBMs) targeting high-volume CGM call points.
    • Clinical Account Managers (CAMs) responsible for HCP/customer education and training.
    • Pharmacy Account Manager (PAM) responsible for pharmacy sales and promotion

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Hire, manage, and develop Territory Business Managers and Clinical Account Managers to represent Dexcom products to Healthcare Professionals in assigned sales territories and ensure attainment of sales targets.
  • Deliver regional sales goals and objectives as set forth by leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with the National Field Sales Director and internal departments, including Market Access, Trade, Marketing, Operations and Training, to support product launches, expansion plans, and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct regular field visits (100+) with sales team members to assess performance, provide coaching, and ensure execution of strategic plans.
  • Identify and develop top performers within the region while implementing performance improvement plans for underperforming team members.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key Healthcare Professionals, diabetes centers, and advocacy organizations within the region.
  • Handle district expenses and administrative functions per company policies.
  • Provide timely sales performance insights and KPI reporting to senior management.
  • Ensure full compliance with company quality systems, procedures, and sales training requirements.

  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, sales forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring team accountability and adherence to company policies and standards.

Travel Requirements:

  • 50-75% travel within British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 8-12 years of industry experience, ideally within the medical device or diabetes market.
  • 2-5 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Consistent track record of sales performance and team development.
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

$104,600.00 - $174,300.00
