We are looking for an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Director to join the US Sales Team. A Regional Sales Director will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of Area Sales Managers and selling UVeye automated vehicle inspection technology to auto dealerships in their region. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the workflow of each department of a dealership, demonstrate success in selling complex solutions and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Drive, manage and execute the business and revenue plan of a sales region
  • Recruit, hire and train Area Sales Managers members
  • Prepare forecasts, territory management, and growth plans
  • Identify and generate new leads through research, networking, and referrals
  • Travel within the regional territory to work with your team to generate prospects, build trusted relationships with prospective customers, demonstrate our product and close business.
  • Enforce the sales process, from initial contact through demo, contract negotiation and closing
  • Effectively utilize Sales Technology (Salesforce, Hubspot, Highspot, etc.) including tracking all activity and leveraging reports and sales tools.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and proper hand-offs to the rest of the org. 
  • Represent the company appropriately in the field, at conferences, and during Dealer Demo Days



Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years as a sales leader in the automotive space selling into dealerships.
  • Proven success selling solutions or services to dealerships, with a deep understanding of dealership operations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales goals 
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in executing a formal sales process, from approach/prospecting to closing
  • Experience using a CRM methodically for sales success, preferably Salesforce
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (drive & fly)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
