IonQ’s Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator. In this role, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to find, identify, and add diverse talent to IonQ’s various teams as we continue to grow. This effort will support IonQ's journey to build the world’s best quantum computers to solve the world’s most complex problems.

This is a contract Recruiting Coordinator position that will last until the end of the calendar year. Depending on the business needs, this position could be extended or made permanent.


Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with Recruiters to design and execute an exceptional hiring process 
  • Coordinate phone, on-site, and virtual candidate interviews 
  • Provide outstanding customer service and guidance to candidates throughout the interview process 
  • Track required documentation and maintain detailed candidate records in an applicant tracking system, ensuring a high standard of data integrity
  • Provide support coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others
  • Participate and provide analytical support in the design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs
  • Handle and prioritize multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative


You’d be a good fit with:

  • 3+ years of proven work experience as a recruiting coordinator or recruiter
  • Ability to work independently and in cooperation to coordinate your assigned recruiter's candidate pipeline
  • Ability to think ahead to anticipate recruiter needs as well as dig into challenges to find solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes like phone/video interviews and reference checks
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate management systems (CRM)


You’d be a great fit with: 

  • Experience working with a high volume of candidates and/or scheduling tasks, especially in the technology industry
  • Experience working with Greenhouse, ModernLoop or Gem


Location: This position can be in-person or hybrid from our Bothell, WA office.

The hourly pay range for this role is $30-$35/hr depending upon experience.  

The base pay component of the offer will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Posted figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available. Beyond base pay, total compensation includes a variable bonus and equity component, as well as a range of benefit options found on our site at ionq.co/jobs.  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided when a candidate receives an offer of employment. IonQ's HQ is located in College Park, Maryland which is only a 15-minute metro ride from Washington DC. We are actively building out our recently opened manufacturing and production facility in the Seattle, Washington area. Depending on the position, you may be required to be located near one of our offices in College Park, Seattle, or Toronto.
