Bridgeway is seeking an experienced QA Analyst to focus on ensuring that software products meet specified requirements and are free of defects. Our QA analysts play a critical role in the secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) by identifying bugs, suggesting improvements, and ensuring that the final product is of the highest quality. Their work helps to enhance user satisfaction and reduce the cost of fixing issues after release. QA Analysts partner closely with business analysts, engineers, product owners, and scrum masters. A successful QA Analyst will apply expertise gleaned from prior SaaS company experiences to drive efficiency and effectiveness within our platform.

The is a remote position with preference given to East Coast candidates.


Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to clarify ambiguities and ensure requirements are testable.
  • Developing comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Identifying testing scope, objectives, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Designing detailed and well-structured test cases and scenarios.
  • Creating test scripts for automated testing when applicable.
  • Performing various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing.
  • Executing manual and automated test cases.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and inconsistencies in the software.
  • Working closely with developers to resolve issues and retest fixes.
  • Documenting test results and maintaining detailed records of test procedures.
  • Preparing comprehensive test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.
  • Recommending process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience testing new software features or entirely new products, including modern Client Server or Web based applications is required
  • Prior experience in highly collaborative, Agile-based and concurrent project environment
  • Possesses an understanding of scripting languages, SQL, API testing, CI/CD, benefit administration, and log monitoring 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
