We are on the lookout for a seasoned PR Manager who is deeply embedded in the crypto world. With at least 4 years of experience in PR, particularly within the cryptocurrency sector, you will have worked for a top 200 blockchain or project. Your established relationships with PR and media outlets will be crucial in elevating our company's profile in this dynamic industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets in the crypto space to secure positive coverage, interviews, and articles.
  • PR Strategy: Develop and execute PR strategies that enhance our company’s reputation, manage public perception, and drive brand awareness in the blockchain and cryptocurrency markets.
  • Crisis Management: Proactively manage any potential PR crises, ensuring rapid and effective communication to mitigate risks to the brand's reputation.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the production of press releases, thought leadership articles, op-eds, and other PR materials that resonate with both the crypto community and mainstream audiences.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute participation in industry events, conferences, and roundtables to boost visibility. Organize and manage press conferences, media briefings, and interviews.
  • Brand Advocacy: Work closely with marketing, product, and executive teams to ensure messaging consistency and to amplify product launches, updates, or significant corporate developments.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Use PR analytics tools to monitor media coverage, sentiment analysis, and the impact of PR efforts, providing regular reports to leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all PR activities are compliant with regulations pertinent to the crypto sector, including how we communicate about our products and company news.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of PR experience, specifically within the cryptocurrency industry.
  • Proven track record of having worked for a top 200 blockchain or project.
  • Strong, existing relationships with key media and PR contacts in the crypto space.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Experience in managing media during high-profile situations or crisis communications.
  • Proficiency in PR tools like Cision, Muck Rack, or similar platforms for media monitoring and relationship management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of blockchain technology, DeFi, NFTs, and other crypto trends.
  • Experience with international PR, understanding different cultural nuances in communication.
  • Certification or training in crisis communication management.
  • Experience working in AI sector an advantage.
