Braze’s Solutions Consulting team are trusted advisors to prospective customers during the sales process, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to bear. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Braze is looking to hire a Proposal Writer on our Solutions Consulting team.

The Proposal Writer is a technical writing role focused on helping Braze put our best foot forward when responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other sales process requests. This role has several key responsibilities:

  1. Proposal Writing & Polish
    RFPs are complex documents which require thorough responses that illustrate Braze’s capabilities, value, and competitive positioning. This role will be responsible for compiling answers at appropriate levels of detail, following up with key stakeholders to confirm answer freshness and validity, and creating polished finished RFP/RFI products for delivery to prospective Braze customers.
  2. Content Curation
    The Proposal Writer is also responsible for maintenance of our RFP question/answer data repositories, held in a platform called Ombud. This will include pruning old answers, monitoring answer re-use, and creating/modifying new answers as needed to fulfill RFP requirements.
  3. Market Analysis
    The Braze product and marketing teams are interested in understanding the types of questions we are seeing on RFPs. This role will analyze and report on customer needs and the quality of Braze’s responses to these customer needs.

WHO YOU ARE

  • People say you’re a great communicator! You have exemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with unparalleled follow up skills. You leave people with the impression that you are really listening to them and understand their problem.
  • You have experience writing about technical subjects for non-technical audiences.
  • You’re known as a “team player.” We just can’t emphasize this enough.
  • You’re fluent in English. 
  • Bonus points: (Helpful, but not required)
    • Business writing proficiency in other languages than English
    • Experience with RFP management software such as Loopio, Ombud, and RFP.io

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $63,000 - $84,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $90,000 - $120,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
