THE HIGH LEVEL

An Iron Bow Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the planning, direction, and coordination of all activities of designated global projects. The PM will ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within scope, schedule, resource, and quality parameters, as defined within the executed Statement of Work (SOW) and/or Customer Contract. In this role, the project manager will primarily support the DoD IT global initiatives. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • You will provide project management leadership and direction by integrating internal, subcontract, and customer staff into cohesive team structures. 
  • You will effectively manage multiple concurrent medium to large-level projects. 
  • You will provide project status reports, monitor, and track entire project lifecycle, leverage Microsoft Project reporting tools and be accountable for overall project success. This includes full financial assessment and responsibility of project profitability. 
  • You will maintain an in-depth understanding of all contractual artifacts including proposal documents, Statements of Work (SOW), deliverables, mandatory reports, CLINs, and Service Level Agreements among others. 
  • You will assess client business and technical objectives, determine deliverables, evaluate risk, and execute projects.
  • You understand and apply the Iron Bow Project Management Methodology processes and procedures.
  • You understand and abide by the Iron Bow ISO 9001 policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is desired.
  • You have 8-10 years prior related project management experience in IT, specifically with Department of Defense customers, is desired.
  • You are experienced with Department of Defense customers on Tactical Communications and IT deployments desired.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is desired.
  • DoD Secret clearance required 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is remote with approximately 10% travel requirement.
