Job Description
The Project Manager (PM) will take on the role of Scrum Master for one or more agile teams. They will communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the Program Increment (PI), maintain and execute the PI plan, and help raise awareness and mitigate risks.
They will direct the day-to-day activities of analysts, engineers, developers, and other IS personnel for the duration of the PI. The PM, in conjunction with the User & Endpoint Systems leadership and other Scrum Masters, is responsible for the success of the PI plan, and ensuring committed work is completed on schedule and the flow of value is optimized for the agile team(s) they manage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Agile coaching and facilitation of all SAFe ceremonies
- Planning and facilitating Program Increment ceremonies
- Removes impediments and provides visibility and/or escalation to leadership
- Fosters a positive and productive environment within the agile team
- Monitors sprint work closely, proactively manages dependencies, and ensures committed work is delivered on time
- Keeps team organized and focused
- Understands the context and status of each feature and story in the PI plan
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to successfully navigate and execute within ambiguous and stressful situations
- Personal and professional alignment with Expeditors culture and ten critical success factors
- Strong communication and execution capabilities
- Experienced problem solver, strong collaborator and able to provide organization and clarity around complex topics
- Experience with DevSecOps, Lean, Agile and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Assertive personality, interpersonal, action and outcome driven mentality
- Ability to actively inspire, coach, mentor and motivate
- Well organized with a keen attention to detail
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in related field (i.e. project management, IS leadership, etc.)
- Experience working in cross-functional agile teams to deliver results with tight deadlines
Additional Information
Expected base salary: $80,000 to $125,000
