Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading departmental, cross-functional, and enterprise projects and programs in a standardized manner while ensuring all projects follow the established project management policies, and related processes and methods. This position serves as the project/program lead responsible for creating and overseeing the completeness and accuracy of all implementation in accordance with the project scope and sponsor’s expectations. Under the guidance of the VP, Enterprise Business Solutions, this position provides regular reporting and updates on project activities, issues, and requirements to executive management to ensure decision makers are informed and moving toward the approved goals and objectives. The Project Manager will work closely with project sponsors, channel subject matter experts, IT partners, and subject matter experts within certain Shared Services areas and Operations to implement changes of various size and complexity across the enterprise.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of projects/programs and escalate when issues arise

  • Remain accountable for planning, prioritizing, and executing projects/programs by working with impacted channels, subject matter experts, technology resources, and third parties as applicable.

  • Creatively design, plan and implement effective programs and tools in support of enterprise project/program initiatives.

  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions and implement/manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

  • Ensure completion of all project deliverables including success measures, controls, and post deployment oversight.

  • Foster effective management of customer expectations while overcoming the many challenges faced during any large-scale project delivery.

  • Build strong partnerships with key senior leadership.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

  • Ability to translate strategic vision or problem statement into a concise and focused operational plan to address the project/program needs.

  • Understand and effectively solve the needs of our internal clients.

  • Drive and monitor the implementation of projects and programs.

  • Provide in-depth knowledge and insights into process enhancements and change management.

  • Understanding of current and proposed technology solutions and how it supports project/program goals.

  • Politically astute, tactically flexible, and the ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization.

  • Strong intuitive skills and capacity to provide early warning radar to key stakeholders. Politically savvy and able to navigate through the multiple matrices of the organization, comfortable and confident to take a stand when needed.

  • Lead by example and live the aspirations to challenge others, aptitude to articulate the cultural dimensions that will drive results.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a Four (4) year College or University

  • Four (4) to six (6) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

None Required

Work Complexity:

  • Project Management, Six Sigma, Agile certifications preferred
