Fluidra’s looking for a Production Control Coordinator to join our team at our S.R. Smith facility in Arlington, WA.

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The Production Control Coordinator is a dynamic role who will report to the Plant Manager and support multiple departments. You will be a team player working in an environment of mutual respect, helping to contribute to the culture of the company. Additionally, you will:

PURCHASING

  • Maintain required stocking levels of core materials such as resins, fiberglass fabric, anchors, fasteners and consumable shop supplies needed to support the build process
  • Monitor lead times and supply chain issues through vendor communications
  • Research and achieve best price and quality balance on inventory with various vendors
  • Create and maintain historical usage, and pricing records that give baseline costs to and vendor performance to improve upon from going forward.
  • Purchase tools and supplies for Manufacturing
  • Maintain purchasing records in our ERP system. Training provided as the system develops.

INVENTORY

  • Work with Production Manager to count, record and submit a monthly inventory of all specified goods.
  • Monitor vendor lead times that could negatively affect inventory levels
  • Be able to communicate with the plant personnel about products we use and where in the process they are consumed.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts on consumables to ensure availability

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Train to be an EHS / ESG representative for Arlington
  • Assist the Plant Safety Committee in record keeping and distribution
  • Check in FedEx and UPS deliveries
  • Provide BOLs for occasional shipments
  • Work with outside service vendors for building needs and repairs
  • Coordinate plant lunches and other employee perks
  • Assist with light HR duties, such as but not limited to: Maintaining employee files, assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring new employees go through safety orientation, redirect HR questions to appropriate corporate partners and disbursing corporate communications.

WHAT WE SEEK

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience or exposure to inventory or purchasing environments
  • Proficiency in MS-Office Suite (particularly Excel)
  • ERP experience is a plus
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

 

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent

Expected hourly rate range is $26.00 – $32.00, rate may vary depending on experience. Fluidra offers a comprehensive rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, quarterly bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, and more. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
