Fingerprint empowers developers to stop online fraud at the source.

We work on turning radical new ideas in the fraud detection space into reality. Our products are developer-focused and our clients range from solo developers to publicly traded companies. We are a globally dispersed, 100% remote company with a strong open-source focus. Our flagship open-source project is FingerprintJS (20K stars on GitHub).

We have raised $77M and are backed by Craft Ventures (previously invested in Tesla, Facebook, Airbnb ), Nexus Venture Partners (previously invested in Postman, Apollo.io, MinIO, Druva) and Uncorrelated Ventures (previously invested in Redis, Rollbar & Gradle).

We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates' personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers. All Fingerprint recruiting email communications will always come from the @fingerprint.com domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Fingerprint via other sources should be ignored.

As a Product Marketing Manager at Fingerprint, you will own the execution of product launches, drive competitive intelligence, craft compelling messaging, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring our solutions to market. Your expertise will help shape how we position our products, ensuring customers clearly understand and derive value from Fingerprint’s powerful device intelligence capabilities.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical aptitude who can translate complex technologies into clear, impactful narratives. You will work closely with Product Managers to understand release schedules, define target audiences, develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and enable sales teams with effective positioning and collateral.

    • Create launch assets, including product positioning documents, sales enablement materials, and marketing collateral.
    • Train internal teams on new product capabilities, competitive positioning, and messaging.

    Product Roadmap & Customer Insights

    • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering insights on product usage and providing feedback to the product team.
    • Work closely with Product Managers to ensure product roadmap decisions align with user needs and market opportunities.
    • Translate technical product capabilities into compelling value propositions tailored for different audiences.

    Competitive Intelligence & Market Research

    • Monitor and analyze the market landscape to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
    • Develop battle cards, competitive analysis reports, and materials to enable sales and marketing teams.
    • Conduct ongoing customer and market research to refine messaging and positioning.

    Campaign Strategy & Messaging

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop integrated campaigns that support Fingerprint’s growth strategy.
    • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels, including website content, sales collateral, and thought leadership pieces.
    • Support demand generation initiatives by providing strategic input on messaging and content development.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement

    • Work with sales enablement to create training materials, presentations, and sales collateral.
    • Partner with customer success to gather feedback, testimonials, and use cases that inform product positioning and go-to-market efforts.
    • Align closely with marketing and product teams to drive successful product adoption and awareness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of product marketing experience, with a strong background in product launches and GTM strategy.
  • Open to candidates in U.S. time zones, including Canada and Latin America.
  • Technical aptitude - Ability to explain complex technologies in a simple, compelling manner.
  • Experience in fraud prevention, identity, or cybersecurity is preferred but not required.
  • Startup experience is a must; candidates from large tech companies will be considered if they have prior startup experience.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

If you're passionate about bringing innovative products to market and thrive in a dynamic startup environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
