Job Title: Product Marketing ManagerOverview: 

The Product Marketing Manager at Duck Creek Technologies is responsible for driving the success of our products in the market. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, creating compelling product messaging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and adoption of our products. They work at the intersection of product management, marketing, sales, and customer success ensuring that the product's value is communicated effectively and consistently to potential buyers, and customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and manage product messaging and positioning that differentiates our products in the market 

  • Collaborate with product management, demand generation, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives 

  • Work closely with demand generation team to develop and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and events 

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape 

  • Develop and deliver compelling product presentations, sales tools, and marketing collateral 

  • Provide training and support to sales teams to ensure they have the knowledge and tools to effectively sell our products 

  • Collaborate with the content marketing team to create engaging and informative content that supports product marketing efforts 

  • Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating with internal teams and external partners 

  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform marketing strategies and tactics 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers 

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics 

What You’ve Done:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field or equivalent year of experience 

  • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or software industry 

  • Experience in the insurance industry, especially with insurtech preferred

  • Go-to-Market mindset and always looking for ways to help generate and win new opportunities 

  • Experience developing and hosting webinars that showcase products and industry thought leadership 

  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling product messaging and presentations 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing software products 

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines 

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement 

  • Attention to detail in order to produce quality deliverables 

 

Work Environment & Other Requirements: 

  • Travel: 0-10% 

  • Special Hours: Preferred ability to work during US eastern time business hours 

  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of the job location 

  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work 

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
